Today's Horse Racing
Sunday trading is so much different to every other day of the week its almost not even worth bothering as a) the racing is so poor and b) you're doing well if you break even.
Just my opinion of course.
True to a certain extent from a trading point of view , but from a purists point of view some of the best horse racing of the autumn/ winter months happens on a Sunday .. Cheltenham open meeting with Greatwood hurdle coming up a week on Sunday, Peterbourough chase run on a Sunday in December. And multiple graded and listed races run every Sunday in Ireland throughout the winter ( a must for Cheltenham pointers )and with decent markets.
Next couple of Sundays in Ireland look very exciting in terms of quality of horses that are running.. as is the case throughout the winter .
Your getting the idea !!! .. Seriously though all the best races in Ireland, especially jumps racing are usually on a Sunday ( apart from the festival meetings ) through the season . So your "5 Sundays " is a bit of an under estimate. Well worth a watch even if you don't trade !!

It's what I call blue collar backing. It's getting to the time of year when there's plenty of builders, road gangs etc having their lunch hour in the bookies to keep warm. Esp as the pub is out of bounds these days. Casual punters gravitate to the fav imho. I know a lot of people think clever money drives the market but i'll say it again...those tenners add up. They must do to cover the high street rent for a b&m bookie. Wouldn't be suppised if the backing dries up after 2.

Is giving away a hunch as bad as giving away an edge? I wish I had the data to explore my winter lunchtime favourites theory. lol pm me if you find it in the numbers, don't put it on here
