Touching tribute from Sophie Raworth I thought.

Jeremy Bowen, who's had bowel cancer himself, has called me a complete idiot for not using my bowel cancer kit. I've had it for about 6 months now and not got around to using it. Better get a move on.

Can Derek27 explain why he would not using his bowel cancer screening kit? It's better than having a periscope stuck up there. Sorry, TMI. :-)

I was going to use it but didn't have a suitable container. So I thought, next time I see some crap in a large microwave container reduced to 50p I'll get it and use the container. Then I was gonna use a seed tray so I could empty it, fill it with compost without needing to clean it and so some seeds in it. In fact, I think I'll do it this week and give my Californian Poppies a head start. :D

I feel honour-bound to say that a colonoscopy isn't that bad. It's a bit embarassing. The alternative is a whole lot worse. Find it early and everyone's a winner.
Derek27 - this screening is a no-brainer. Even I managed to figure out a receptacle that would fit in the toilet pan. Of course, it's not nice. But hell, having been present while a parent changes a nappy, by comparison the screening kit is flipping easy peasy. Ask most dog owners about picking up their pooches poo and you realise the screening process is nothing.

"quick poo hack" there's a phrase you will rarely see. :-)
But I stick to sticking the stick in and then have a clean up. For me it's once every two years. Hell, if only the toilet habits of the neighbourhood cats would respect my territory on that timescale.

Changing the subject, I haven't purchased a newspaper for about 10 years, and despite looking at the headlines every day I've never noticed the price ... until today. 90 pence for The Sun!!! I thought they were still about 30p.

I never thought of that. I'll have to look at the instructions again.

It would have to be on the sloppy side though. A really solid dump and there's barely anything on the bog roll even after first wipe!
