I once saw a correct score distribution spreadsheet that mapped the scores from 0-0 to any other draw across a spreadsheet but cant find it these days.

Can somebody help with this. May have been on soccer mystic. looked like this

3-1
1-0 2-1 3-2
0-0 1-1 2-2 3-3
0-1 1-2 2-3
1-3

I remeber seeing it. It used to be in the spreadsheet section (obviously).

You know I never understand why this forum has so many views on subjects but nobody ever leaves a reply. Some posts have 84/85 views but 0 replies.

Hi
This isnt a pop at the original poster but the main reason is that a lot of people dont search before they post.

When you have been asked the same question a hundred times you run out of steam! People come and go on the forum, there has been hundreds over the years and from what I can see, not a lot of original members remain. The same questions are repeated.

There is virtually not a week goes by where someone doesnt post along the lines of.."Help needed to set up an automated system in guardian to .."

Betangel is so well documented these days in the user guide and BetangelTV there is no excuse really. We even have practice mode to run test systems on.
Trading a tough gig these days and I think the reason only 1% make it, is because of the amount of effort that is needed. That effort is started by putting the spade work in initially

Peter

It is because most of the senior people on this forum are very unhelpful/arrogant/would rather take the tiss than help anyone (le tiss) is a classic example...
whilst bet angel is a brilliant tool, the forum is pants...

That's a deep injustice to the forum, most posts are very helpful. There are far more posts here than other trading forums and far more full timers here.

One problem you have as a full timer is you can give encouragement and nudges, but people wont lay a golden egg for you. So sometimes that can seem a little frustrating to newbies. But if you make 100k's a year, why would you just gift it to somebody you never met. You would at least want to build a relationship with them, like any relationship.

Like any community, you will always have different views and personalties. You can't reliably sanitise that. That's the way the world works.

I have learnt loads from the users on this forum over the years which is why im happy to pass on any help or advice myself where i can provinding like i did they are willing to help themselves, but as Euler says there is a big difference between helping and guiding someone and just handing something you have worked so long and hard to master on a plate for them to reap overnight rewards.

That's very harsh. If anything, when it comes to help and advice, people are almost being spoon-fed on a daily basis. One really could not ask for more out of this community, but sometimes they still do. Not every trader has the time or the patience to answer various questions every day but there's more than enough of those that are willing to provide genuine advice to struggling traders (see Lammtarra's thread for example).

Not sure why Letiss was singled out but he offers some of the best advice if you ask me. He always advises, never trade after drinking under any circumstances and also trade sports that you understand or follow.

These are two of the best bits of advice that you will find I believe on any forum and two pieces that I never listen to and therefore lead to my biggest losses! ;)

steve, I got a reply from Betfair on the cross matching. I'm going to get them to look at my interpretation and then I'll post it.

Thanks Peter. I don't think they have one simple set rule for Xmatching?

What I noticed was happening on the video I posted up was that if I took the 3 front positions regardless of stake size in a widespread market it turned off the next 3 prices that were cross matched if that makes sense.

Look forward to reading your write up.

I don't believe it's as simple as they say, because I spotted inconsistencies with the way it's applied. But I'll raise those with them as well. But at least they have got in contact.
