i called betfair australia and they are aware of the problem but said as it needs to be fixed in the uk and its around 1am there , they are not sure when it will be fixed

They are a 24hr/365 day service it shouldn't matter when it happens they should have staff around to fix it or at the very least staff that are on call and be contacted at short notice. My day is a bust now I am not sitting around waiting. I just hope they are up and running for the A league match

I have a couple of Bet Angels running from last night but im unable to add any new markets or open up a new program

Some one in the team spotted the issue at 2am. So I'm guessing there is nobody behind their desk at Betfair in the early hours UK time. Which seems a little odd.

My bots continued to run through the night, they just couldn't retrieve any new markets, but I'd loaded them into Guardian already. So it looked like the market retrieval side of the Betfair API that failed.

The issue occasionally occurs when you get disconnected from the API, especially if you come out of hibernation, so I tried shutting down BA and restarting it, losing the markets I already had in Guardian.
