I've just got a free month Amazon Prime subscription, already saved £20 on postage and can watch the Newcastle v Norwich match.
Does anyone know what the latency is like on Prime Video?

Isn't that result more a question of GDP per capita and gender politics perhaps?
Things aren't perfect here (England) for women, but I would suggest being an English woman vs a Latvian woman presents a lot more sporting opportunities.
And football has to be one of the top arena's were men get most stupid about gender equality.
You only have to compare women's football in the UK now to 10 years ago and it's just a quantum leap.
Opportunity and support changes everythng.
Latvia's next match is against Afghanistan.greenmark wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 10:28 pmIsn't that result more a question of GDP per capita and gender politics perhaps?

Lol. 33 players on the pitch then! 11 latvian players, 11 afghani players plus their male relatives. 21st century? Good grief (grief being the operative word)!Derek27 wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 10:37 pmLatvia's next match is against Afghanistan.greenmark wrote: ↑Tue Nov 30, 2021 10:28 pmIsn't that result more a question of GDP per capita and gender politics perhaps?

In the 80s I worked with a girl who was a Scottish internationalist. At the annual 5-a-side tourney the 100 or so guys playing all sniggered when they saw a girl was going to play for our team. They weren't so smug after she won 'player of the tournament' by a country mile.
Women's football is one of the most challenging ones to trade for me. Almost impossible to estimate what will happen 10 seconds later:) The other one is youth matches.
Do you find women's and U23 matches worthwhile trading? I've only been trading football for a year odd and never traded them, but only because there's usually first-tier football on, even if it is Bolivia or Paraguay.

Just looking now at some highlights of the England and Ireland women's matches, gotta feel for those poor girls getting trounced 20-0 and 11-0.
I always feel sorry for the male teams of San Marino and Andorra but this is a different level of humiliation. That can't be good for the game or for the girls themselves.
I can see now why there are 17 female players who have scored 100+ goals for their countries.
