Hi Ladies and Gents,
is it me or are the horses markets behaving differently since the meltdown of the BF software last Sunday?
I haven't been able to get a handle on them, this week, but can't make up my mind whether or not that's the psychological effect of the "big hit" my bank took, or an actual change in their (horse markets) behaviour.
Cheers, P
Is It Me..........
It seems to me that this is one of those days where for every £1 of real money there is £3 of spoof money. Why do things differ so much some days, its not like monday and tuesday were full of high quality races or the constructions of the fields are any different today??
I feel the same, there seems to be very little real money in the market. I can put in a small order on one side and the market panics and bolts away from it. I can't get anything reasonable filled and when I do it's tricky to close. Other than that it's great. I am with jimrobo on this one, I am thinking of just throwing in the towel, it's painful!!!hgodden wrote:It seems to me that this is one of those days where for every £1 of real money there is £3 of spoof money. Instead of trading markets you feel uncomfortable with why don't you spend the day finding cheltenham festival winners which will bring a tear or two to the eyes of the crowd.
for example you may want to cast your eyes at the world hurdle (horrible title) and see if there are any opportunities lurking. Always remember northerner's rule and southerners don't see them coming.

Glad I am not the only one - I struggled to read anything with any great forsight.
Might have been better closing my eyes, spinning the mouse and then clicking - think that trading at random today may have been a good strat
Low liquidity and races clashing/very little time to trade next race usually means I can build no rhythm.
