I would love to be able to do this Memphis and would appreciate if you could help me with this, please dm me as to if and when you could do it. Would i need to learn OCTOPARSE to do the scraping or would you be able to assist with that ( pushing me luck now !! )MemphisFlash wrote: ↑Sun May 29, 2022 10:27 amwas wondering if anyone would like a excel sheet that combined with OCTOPARSE software would scrape
a partcular website for daily greyhound data at your fingertips as shown below.
If any interest i can give detailed instruction on how to set this up, will take about 5 mins per day.

Also in terms of ease of use to a beginner of scraping data. what would you recommend OCOTOPARSE or PARSEHUB ??,

At the beginning i could not get Octoparse to work properly so started with Parsehub.
That is quite easy to get to grips with as you know pretty much immediately if you go wrong
but it is very slow when scraping compared to Octparse.
Octoparse is more difficult to get to work how you want it, but it is much faster when scraping.
A typical Octoparse file i use takes about 20 seconds in Octoparse but about 15 mins in ParseHub
.
Hope that helps
