Is it possible ?

I want to dutch lay all Favs of the day all at once, how would you do that ? I need an excel sheet ? Or can I do it from using internal commands ?

Well the first problem I see is that you would have to calculate, place and have matched all your bets at the same time so taking today as an example How would you know at say 13:55 (5 mins before the first race today) who the favourite will be for the 20:30 at Kempton tonight?! If you deem the favourite to be that with the shortest odds in every race as at 13:55 today then you could do it using the Excel multisheet workbook but it would require a lot of patience to set it up but once done it could be used as a daily template. And it would be very difficult to backtest because you would need to have the market price for every 'favourite' as at the nominated time every day.

Good luck! :)

essex_boy - as mentioned above, there are timing hurdles that would make this excercise a tad more complicated than a simple set and forget. my question tho is why?? would it not just be better (i use that term loosely) to just use a level liability for each trade as they are all in essence atomic units in unconnected markets.

apologies if i've misread/misunderstood the question.

Years ago I had a program that allowed me to add many and any event to be dutched, I could lay fav in a horse race then the out come of a football match or any thing else, I found it very profitable but the company collapsed.

My dutch's would consist of around 20 events...... Favs were just a indea

It's not true dutching as I understand it if it's across more than one event. My understanding of dutching is that you pick two or more possible winners from one event. For example you can dutch a home win and a draw in a football match but to pick two home wins from two matches is not true dutching for me. Anyway you can do dutching calculations on a spreadsheet. I have my own that can handle up to 15 selections (I use that for golf!). The maths are not difficult but they are long winded the more selections you want to dutch.

As said this isn't dutching, sounds more like an accumulator, AFAIK can't be done on Bet Angel. You used to be able to lay multiples on Befair a while ago but they removed it, probably people not having a clue what they were doing having massive liabilities...
