Hi guys.

I'm using Bet Angel Pro in running so, of course, speed is of the absolute essence! By recording my trading I have noticed that on the one-click betting screen there is a delay of approx 1.7 seconds between click and placement of trade into the market. I notice approx 0.2 secs is the time between me clicking and releasing the mouse.

1) Is this normal or is there something I can do to optimise speed in my settings?
2) Is it faster, slower, or the same speed when using Excel vs the one-click screen?
3) Is there a way to change the settings so the trade is placed when I click the mouse button rather than when I release the button?

Notes:
My connection is super-fast (c.250mbps).
I back at 1.01 to ensure my bet is always taken at the best available odds, so the delay is not due to market movement.

Are you including the in-play bet delay Betfair impose in that?

I wasnt aware that there was a BF delay on horse racing? How long is it? The 1.7s is from button press to trade being actioned.

I'm also keen to know if there is any time difference between an Excel trade, one-click trade, and servant trade in the one-click screen please.

Yes all in-play bets have delays, on horse racing its 1 second (2 seconds if the bet is below the £2 minimum)

Excel and servants will place bets faster than any human, Bet Angels automation (and servants) is very slightly faster than excel although it depends on how much stuffs going on in your excel coding as to how much slower excel can become

Thanks for the info on the delays. I cant believe I've been using this for almost 6 months and not realised.

It's a manually induced servant on the one-click screen, so I wanted to know if there is any difference in time between a servant initiated on the one-click screen vs a simple bet placed on the one-click screen please.

There'd be no noticeable difference
