Can’t see England wining the Ashes.

They need to hope that Lords isn’t a washout, if it is then they need to win 2 out of the remaining 3.

Based on the last game then I would give them no chance.

Must admit getting tempted to lay the draw 1.87/1.88 at moment, will keep eye on the weather....

I have layed around this level also, and a little higher.

There is certainly mixed weather forecast but its a long test match

Draw back above evens, staying out of this far too dangerous trading with the draw price at the mercy of every hourly update. Almost 2 million matched.

Has to be a draw or Australian win. Therefore I’m laying England big.

Jofra may not hold together, plus we don't know how good he is against this lot.
Leach? I have zero knowledge of him.
Woakes is the "Lord of Lords" but has he faced this kind of top batting in a test?
It seems its not going to be an full uninterrupted 5 days weatherwise.
Can Broad get accurate?
But most of all can our batsmen dig in/attack when required?
Looking forward to it.

England will have to be more ruthless, certainly in the bowling department
Root needs to prove hes a leader also

Thats a very very good point. It seems the captaincy is a poisoned chalice for talented cricketers. I reckon there are Captains (ie managers) and exceptional players. It's a mistake to assume you can have both in the same individual. Too many distractions, corporates, moneymaking opportunities. But then this is capitalism, who am I to deny Root every opportunity to make money?

That current draw price looks bonkers.
They always over do it when they think the weather will take time out of the game.

They had the draw in the Sri Lanka vs NZ test match into 3.x based on weather forecasts the other day. Thats now out to 7

And back into 3.x

You could probably scalp the draw all day long in these test matches
