Indeed. There is a treasure trove of brilliant films from way back.
What tickles me is when they try to remake them. I've yet to see one that surpassed the original. Most just look like they've run out of ideas and think "OK let's remake XYZ".

The other thing is they were black and white. But you don't mind because the lighting and cinematography is so good.

They must fly in with some speed to be able to climb the required 80 metres for the parachute drop.
