Betting by position - best settings...

Hi all,

I've sifted through the forum but haven't been able to identify an answer yet so I was hoping someone on here might be able to help.

I'm looking to bet by position in the market - my strategy means the position has to be correct on the off but I've had a lot of moments where I've backed the horse in the position I want at 10 seconds before the off only for the odds to change and the positions to also change meaning I've now backed the wrong one.

I've tried different times to fire the bet (5 seconds before, 5 seconds after etc.) but I'm yet to find a consistent approach - does any one know a way in which to accurately and consistently back by position?

If it goes in play think you would have to wait for SP then fire bet obviously you wont get odds you probably want.

Thanks for the response - so would I instruct it to go inplay and to take sp on any unmatched bets based on position? I guess I could set it to take odds of 1000 so nothing is matched until it goes inplay.

I think you can set up in order of favouritism 5 seconds before the off time and take it from there, once you create a new rule its in the first section

In your main settings on the 'automation' tab if you set the favourtism sort to starting price

You'll then be able to apply the rule to order of favourtism in-play and it will use the starting price as its order

I've just seen the inplay rule - if I trigger it at 00:00:00 until 00:00:01 after event goes inplay, will that work and be pretty close to BSP?
