The Osaka match is getting very interesting
Beat me to that,

Now wondering if we're going to get a 4th 1.01 loser in 2 days

Mertens match re-started.

Would be good to see a 3rd set here

Osaka still trading as favourite for the tournament

Even if she gets through, she doesn't look like the favourite to me. She looks out of sorts and her leg is very heavily strapped

I don't mean to come back to Serena again, but it's staggering how unfancied she is

She's trading at 9.4 as I write this, which is incredible when you think of the absentees here, the number 1 seed has been beaten, and the favourite looks lame with hamstring problems

9.8 right now. So she'll probably run into Kenin or Vika right? Assuming she gets through Sloane and Sak/Anismova. Sloane volatile as f**k. Vika back to her 2018 numbers (ish).

I don't hate Angie at 26 to go through Brady then either Puts/Martic (Martic also banged up). Then Osaka/Kontaviet or Rodgers/Kvit.

I accept defeat on the Serena situation........she looks like an old woman out there. Her legs have gone

Up a break in second v Sloane. No crowd = quieter court. Serena just gasping for air between longer points.
