Medvedev looks a serious challenge to Djokovic on this form.
Tsitsipas has been flat so far and offered no challenge to Medvedev - needs to get the adrenaline flowing to make a match of it.

Making a bit of an effort now and the crowd getting behind him.

...new balls are great if you make your first serve but not if you don't!

...only token resistance from Tsitsipas in the second half of this set, shame - Nadal had taken his soul.

The final looks finely balanced given the form of Medvedev.

Medvedev should be favourite, Djokovic Australian Open record not important

...is it not important that Medvedev is yet to win a GS tournament?

I thought Djokovic would have been fav for obvious reasons but even though Medvedev hasn't yet won a slam I don't think he'll be phased.

He's been in a final already when he really pushed Nadal and he's barely broke a sweat in this tournament, plus Djokovic won't be able to push him around from the back of the court.

I wonder if Djokovic's injury will make a return if things aren't going so well :?:

Hey rik - well done today :)

I missed the opening game - what was Medvedev's starting price against Tsitsipas? I'm going to guess at 1.63? Close or miles out?
