Oh I think Pat is bang on the money... it defo had an influence along with the regs.... listen to the CEO of RH on the CNN interview with Dickmo, for once I actually like the guy... calls Vlad out on his BS "we're always looking at the best interests of the customers" later on Dickmo "So it's all about financial regs to you" - probably not word for word but the video is here.

Actually Cuomo pulls Vlad up on the liquidity issue... Vlad said previously that liquidity for RH wasn't an issue but then used meeting financial regs as an excuse.

I've never understood why hedge funds take on the additional expense and unlimited risk of shorting stocks, especially in the current environment of near zero rates and perpetual stimulus - surely it's easier, and less risky, to pick winners than losers?
