Looking forward to it tbh Hopefully the tournament will be deserving of it's own thread!

Having a good look today while it's quiet on the sporting front and have to question the 32 team format. I know it's sport and anything can happen but some of the teams in there are nothing more than filling a 32 team quota. Expecting plenty of goals and walkovers early on so possibly won't get competitive until the quarter/semi-final stage.

Hopefully it'll trade well with half decent money. Suppose it'll come under Aussie Betfair T&C's with commission depended on location. At worst it brings us nicely to the start of the top European leagues.

From what I've seen of England I think there lacking goals up top so may struggle against the top teams at the business end of the tournament but happily to be proved wrong.

I was solely a spectator last time around, not really sure what my approach this time will be yet
The first few matches will be data/information gathering then I'll work out which if any direction I'll go in

Oh, ok.

I think some of the time slots will be desperate.

Y, I'm expecting that to have an impact on volume especially the group stages
Just how much is anyone's guess until it gets under way

Opening match matched about £150k at kick off. Pretty small.

Not much money getting put down in play either.

I wasn't expecting millions but was hoping for a little bit more, hopefully it picks up as the tournament progresses however I'm watching it and it does have a Papa John's Trophy type game feel to it.

The timing may have an effect on the liquidity. It's too early in the morning for me and may not big enough for traders to change their sleeping pattern for the duration of the tournament.

Valid points hopefully pick up at the weekend and further into the tournament. Time to get the bacon on and watch The Open I'll give the 2nd half a miss.

Amazing how many outsiders who are hosting nations win their first match.

Australia v ROI looking better, I'm seeing 20+ second delays on BBC and ITV from both games.

I nearly missed that match expecting there just to be the single match involving the host team on the opening day

Good game I thought a lot better quality wise than the opener, also decent money done over a million on the match odds market.
