Sweden look short don’t they, thought that before last night and they’ve done really poorly on YT stats, less than 200k views

Seems like every man and his dog on Twitter hates Austria so that’s a good omen for them.

France’s entry seems worse than last year IMO, Netherlands staging felt poor, jury will be against Israel against you’d think and probably not as strong tele 12 months on, Finland I like, could do well with both? And Switzerland will be v strong jury but will definitely struggle in tele to get to 100+

Thinking about last place, UK could get 0 couldn’t they? Some really poor acts this year though but I’m not sure how the UK get any tele and judging by their preview, jury isn’t going to be keen.

Great idea checking YT stats! Can't see any reason why that isn't a fantastic indicator of crowd vote.

Israel is a lay for me mainly due to Louis Thoreau film going viral.

As usual some have already been released as singles and are currently on European radio playlists. This year it's....

Sweden (29m+ Spotify streams)
Ireland
Portugal (has already been #1 in their singles chart)
UK
Spain
France

I watched the semifinal last night and tried to put some money through the market. The experience cost me 80p and my self-respect. ;)

Sweden drifted while they were on stage and I see the price has gone out further today. The Swiss entry was backed with some enthusiasm during the performance, but again the odds have moved back out. Albania were quite good, I thought (until the male half of the act did his bit). I also found myself humming the Dutch song after the event. Not sure if I should be used as a barometer for musical worthiness.

The final market was good last year, but I can't see me trading Eurovision over the USPGA on Saturday night. Good luck to all.

The order they are set to appear on the night is important. The winners are normally in the last 6 to be broadcast on the night, so correlating your pre-off stats with those, could be the way to go.

Seems like most acts now get ‘producers choice’, I think only 4 got allocated first/second half draws from SF1

FYI @Klausfigu has all the SF2 performances leaked so if you want to save a bit of time instead of watching it tonight 👍

Finland (20.3%) and Austria (20%) well ahead in SF2 Audience Poll, which for a more Jury friendly song is a big % for Austria

Only lasted maybe 40 secs... Switched on when Latvia started up & thought I really don't want to watch this twice )

So Sweden back in to about evens and Israel drifting out.

Really can not see why Sweden are so short... (although have not watched the rest)...

Because Austria drew a first half slot but they’ve got UK in front and Iceland behind so are surrounded by some crap.

France given a dream draw so 9/1 seems right

Sweden barely winning the audience poll with 11.8%, and yet still exactly the same price to win, think you’d have wanted 20+% so feel comfortable.

Seems every tipster now shifting to France or Finland e/w, no love for Austria but they’ve got a great chance.

isreal intensifying the bombing on gaza today should have an interesting dynamic on the whole competition (odds, voting and protest). will be watching with interest.

Last year they won the UK vote. The song was average, but people wanted to stick two fingers up to all the Palestinian flag wavers. I suspect the same will happen this year

100% agree. I expect Israel to be top 5 overall.
