Hi! New here.
I've been reading few posts about the exchange voiding bets due to many reasons and I was wondering if anyone ever had any luck with their voided bets due to market failing to go In Play.
I'm nearly £1000 worse off after last night Women Euros game btw France and Germany went to extra time. I laid both teams during the first half of the extra time and then realised that they voided the bets during the second half. Later on the chat I was explained that it was due to the market failed to go In Play.
I tried pretty much everything I could think of. My bets and odds would have been the same if the market was marked as In Play or not. I explained that I was trading with different but related markets like "Team to qualify" and lost on that one so it would be only fair to honour the voided bets. I mentioned IBAS and gambling commission few times but the most I could get from them was a £50 bonus which I declined.
Does anyone have any tips that would help to get a payout from them? Or should I just move on?
Appreciate any help and I'm happy to give any more info if what I mentioned isn't enough.
Market fail to go In Play. Possible to honour?

Betfair market management is not always as good as it should be and there is always a risk of bets being retrospectively voided due to a Betfair error. Unfortunately due to it being an Exchange, either all affected bets will be voided or all will stand - they are unable to make individual decisions based on specific circumstances. Some you will win, and some you will lose. It's bad luck that you lost out this time. I would take the £50 and move on.levrone93 wrote: ↑Sun Jul 20, 2025 4:46 pmHi! New here.
