I've seen a couple of posts on the internet that suggest its not a good idea to trade on all weather racing surfaces.

Is there a justified reason behind this?

Many thanks.

Most AW races in the UK are low grade and therefore the liquidity can be low. This will mean more price volatility as smaller amounts can cause a larger movement. I trade them and you simply have to be quicker with your trades. If you enter a market and it does not go as expected then it is even more important that you get out quickly and do not sit and wait in the hope it will move your way. This week there were some incredible moves on horses at Wolverhampton with the price drifting out and then reversing and steaming in to a new low that was way below the previous low point. I don't mind admitting I was caught by a couple of these.

Trading the AW is fine, just lower your stakes and be extra vigilant.

Kempton and Southwell.
I wouldn't hold your breath for Great Leighs ever reopening.
