When a horse is withdrawn from a race the prices of previously struck bets are altered, so too the prices of volume data afore the withdrawl.

How is this reflected in the volume column on the ladder?

For example, if 7.2 is altered to 7.11 then where does the volume for this go on the ladder? The previous 7.2 or 7.1 or somewhere else?

Obviously, 7.2 before the withddrawl is not the same as 7.2 now. In fact, if bets are now matched at 7.2 then that represents a lengthening of the price over matches at 7.2 before the withdrawl.

I'd like to know how this works so that I can appreciate the true change in prices after a withdrawl.

Thanks for any help.
