Another one over 700k matched at the Flem 4.40. Haven't traded these markets before, is the liquidity always this good?

Generally not, this is the big week. But it goes in cycles.

Today is the biggest weekend in Australian racing hence why liquidity is so good.

A nice finish to the night for me - time for some sleep! Hope you both had a good night!

Just short of £700k on that race. Nice stable market brings the best result so far for me. Now longing for bed again!

Thanks a lot guys, was great having someone to talk to inbetween races. Would have probably packed it in if it wasn't for your advice on the connection mode and which races to trade :D

Really glad I gave it a go. Will stay up for the 6.10 before I call it a night.

Looks like you guys had a good night

I was awoken at 2am by an intoxicated ex-girlfriend on the phone, so decided to try a race

Race 2 - 2am Rosehill, the fav Common Objective was clearly drifting. I layed him at 1.95 & got 7 ticks out of it. I was a bit annoyed actually, he kept drifting to 2.08/2.10, so could have made more

The liquidity was a surprise though, is it just a big weekend, or are most Saturdays like that?

Nice to have up to the second pictures on ATR this morning. Only just joined after falling asleep on the sofa and missing the first two races.

I've never done particulary well on the big race itself, but there is only one way to improve! You tend to find it gets stuffed with money and that makes it harder to trade but I'll do my best to make something happen. More experience on the aussie stuff this year so hopefully that will help.

I missed the first one, the second managed just over 320K so not a bad start. This is my first attempt on the Aussie markets so it's all new to me :)

Debating whether to trade the Rand meeting or not, liquidity doesn't look too good so far. Might give it a miss and just wait.

Randwick is usually ok. I guess the problem today is that "the cup" is the only really decent race. I'm going to give Randwick a go, I have Eagle Farm and Morp on the back burner.

Yes it did pick up towards the end, another couple of minutes like that would of been nice!
