Someone was desperate to get on the fav at Kembla. He's blown a few grand.

Was going to review the numbers later. So that's interesting.
Did you run the numbers?

I saw this data earlier:

Key metrics from Carlton Draught Caulfield Cup last Saturday - domestic wagering turnover $143m (new record) up 11% YoY (2020 $129m, 2019 $97.5m). Heavy 8 v Soft 6 (2 upgrades this year). Starters 106 v 112 LY (down 5.4%)

Total domestic turnover for the 3 days of the Carlton Draught Caulfield Cup Carnival was $297m up 12.4% YoY (2020 $264m, 2019 $215m).
Bump - Peter?
Those are big numbers. It's becoming one of my favourite days of the year!

I've forgotten what I was going to check. Maybe last years numbers?

Great race that and Joseph does it again - lets hope there isn't any issue with a stewards.

Not a chance of it being overturned in the UK but can see it in Oz.

Anamoe (Edit: to correct horses name) looked to lug right as well as the winner lug left on the chopper shot.

Shame they don't allow betting on photos/stewards, this could go either way

Some shot the 2nd horse considering the margin.

Don't underestimate C Williams in the stewards room, i remember Willaims won a protest at Mooney Valley some years ago by saying the winner 'intimidated' his horse

Overhead. Clearly moves in bumps, takes the momentum and whip space.

Gonna be upheld for sure.

No camera in stewards due to covid, how disappointing.

Tough call, can see it going either way.... As peanuts says, I would sooner Williams on my side.

I'd much rather be the 2nd going in there
