Good news.

The sun is shining in to my office and tomorrow’s five group 1s look all set to go.

Hope all Aussie forum members survived the deluge on the eastern seaboard.
I feel a bit guilty being annoyed that Rosehill was abandoned last week when people in NSW have far more serious problems. Hope the sun keeps shining.

Still gutted about last weeks chips being washed away but looking good tonight, Rosehill a soft 7.

It must have been bad though. Our antipodean cousins managed to keep the dogs AND horses (and my income) running when everywhere was shutdown because of Covid this time last year, I'll forgive them a few days here and there.

Is that a shot as you arrive by chopper 😀

It’s getting quite cloudy and I’m about 6 miles from the track. Wouldn’t surprise if there is an afternoon shower.

How well did Derek spend his chips today?

This thread's gone pretty quiet. I spent over 1000 chips on R4, which I think was a G1, and only came away with £16. I had to go easy on R5 and stopped 250 chips short of my quota. Not a very memorable night for me.

There is a marked difference in NSW group 1's and others. No doubt because of the TC.

I assume higher percentage of turnover is from punters rather than traders? But what effect does it have in terms of price movement?

I forgot about Easter  ....every day is the same to me tbh, I didn't even realise it was a bank holiday today.
(yep just checked and 10th April last year was the same, about 1/3 of the usual dogs, d'oh  )

Same here, I was wondering what English soccer is doing on at 3 pm on a Friday. I forgot about Mother's Day too.
