Two BA issues

Hi

Can anyone tell me whether the profits report file works while in practice mode, as I havent used it yet and after automation no reports appear.

Secondly, the dutching margin maker % does not seem to calculate the correct figure for marking up a price.
For a selection of say 3.0 with a 10% markup, instead of 3.3 I get 1.02 or 1000.

That's generally what it was designed for, so yes it does.

The margin maker seems OK to me, so not sure how you have set it up to do that?

I did check the resources FAQ page and couldn't locate anything in the manual prior to posting here.

Does the profit report appear on an excel s/s? All I find after each nights automation is an empty folder.
I have tried uncovering hidden files to no effect.
In practice mode the only accurate way I have found to assess my P/L is with Timeform's results and a calculator.


Every morning I dutch multiple selections (with a % markup) for 30 odd races with the calculator. I recall margin maker not working when I first started on BA over a year ago. I am not aware of having "set it up" in any way. I do have the "greenup after dutching" turned off in case it interferes in anyway.
