hi,
i saw this idea and it appeals to me,you place a multiple bet say a treble, then you can trade your position after each leg,i think you need to start with a winner, and then lay the other selections as you go,obviously the timings of races or matches need to be spread.
has anyone got any thoughts on this idea,or can give me any help with staking,as i cant find anything online about it,also is there a way you can also cover yourself if you start with a loser.
any thoughts, help or advice would be very much appreciated.
thank you

What is the point in placing a treble and then trading out? There is no benefit to placing a treble over just backing the first outcome. Or am I missing something?

Agreed Linus, it's the same as just betting on the first option. In addition, by trading out I would imagine that you are buying into the other side of the book, therefore playing against the spread rather than just the one selection.

If i placed a treble depending on profit if it was down to the last leg after two winners i would look to secure profit but multiples are the bookies bet. I leave well alone now learnt my lesson. If you do want to place multiples i would look at backing the selections in singles to cover stake if 2 win 1 loses. Stick to singles and level stakes or better still pre race trading.
