Jamie Lee Curtis has won an Oscar. :D

I thought I'd be much older than her by now, but now I realise she's ageing ahead of me. :(

I'd love to have seen his opponent's reaction when he first tried it. They must have thought he was a right wally. ;)

It's a bit late but I just found out that Kelly Monteith died on New Year's Day this year, aged 80.

My favourite comedian at the time and unlike most comedies of the time, his long-running BBC show still has me laughing today. I always thought his wife in the show (Gabriella Drake) was his real-life wife, but she's not.

flipping hell! I've just seen footage on the news of high jumpers back in 1968. Jumping two metres plus, they would land on a ground-level sandpit.

They were lucky not to break necks!

Indeed, its amazing what humans can achieve. But I suspect a frog or flea would collapse in hysterics at our ineptitude. And don't try to outjump a tiger. :-)

Prepare the topping first, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

Next, prepare the dough, add 2 tablespoons of olive oil.

Get a large bowl out and line it with a tablespoon of olive oil.

Prepare a baking tray and grease it with a tablespoon of olive oil.

Place the prepared pizza in the oven after you've drizzled over it, yes you've guessed it, olive oil!

How many flipping litres of olive oil do you consume in a day Gino???

Line a bowl with olive oil, place the dough in a clean bowl.

Got it now, I need two bowls.

The Santander email warning me of scammers was so suspiciously constructed that Mail dumped it in the Spam folder. :-)

I changed the name of a rule from lay to back but forgot to change the rule itself. One hour to figure it out.

My memory of Paris was nearly being mown down by someone that decided to ignore a traffic light on a pedestrian crossing. Be warned. Don't assume that anyone will stop in Paris. And also I had Foie Gras in a Michelin starred restaurant - it wasn't worth the suffering needed to produce it. It was actually quite bland.

Muller, our Eurovision entry, was the little girl in Mika's Grace Kelly video.

I didn't fancy her then. ;)
