That's not ideal. I've always wondered how they've managed to survive. I thought there may be some financial wizardry going on there.

I've been a few times and it's always been surprisingly busy. I would be sad to see racing end permanently.

If you look at his previous races, he doesn’t respond well to being whipped or pushed. He had specific instructions from the trainer not to use the whip, which is why the jockey didn’t carry one. She tends to stop if she’s whipped or ridden too aggressively every horse is different. There probably should have been some clarification, but I just wanted to point that out.

Thanks that clears it up it seems - probably should be noted by the comm. before and during the race as it just looks very bad

The market didn't really pick up on the opportunity for a long time. It shortened the price a bit, but didn't think it was going to be a winner until right at the end.

Congratulations. What type of bot would you have that backs horses at 1000 given every horse bar the winner will trade at 1000 at some point in the race? Plus fallers and pulled up horse in the NH.

I've been thinking about this too, and my best guess would be something TPD-based. Perhaps something towards the latter stages of a race that identifies horses trading at a high price point despite the data suggesting they are still in contention?

It's not an angle I've ever bothered to explore. There's so much you can do with TPD.

It's a low win rate strategy which most people just simply can't hack because you lose day after day for months and then eventually one comes in. So I'd say it's one of the hardest strategies you can deploy.
