Holy complacency Derek, doesn't alcohol water down your edge? You will get an earful from your boss when he wakes up

I've been caught drinking at work enough times.

Now I'm trying to get more load onto my bots. They're teatotal.
Well your boss seems a lot more forgiving than mine!

You could consider sacking him and hiring someone like Gordon Ramsay 👨‍🍳

Just seems like a slippery slope, taking this for granted, while so many work tirelessly to even find an edge :ugeek:
I am like Derek above, I was having a nice bottle of wine with my Sunday roast, came back to my computer and see I am a nice few pounds up with the Westham Arsenal halftime score, nothing like having a sober bot.

Astonishing crumbling of West Ham and astonishing lack of loyalty of the the "fans" heading for the door. "Fans" ? What a joke! Glory hunters. Look where you are in the Premier League right now. Snowflakes..... go away and don't come back!
You never know... https://youtu.be/T0O4QS34SsM?t=169
True enough. However the Toon Army stayed put. The Hammers have left the building.

I put a bet in behind a four-figure sum, it got matched straight away, the four-figure sum remaining!

That's what I was wondering. I'm on 500ms so perhaps a large bet was pulled and resubmitted but that's unlikely.

Perhaps Derek was mistaken and the volume moved price? Or the layer cancelled and immediately put it back up at the same price?

Oh yeah. Cross-matching likely the answer.

How can cross-matching allow you to jump the queue? Some of that four-figure sum should have been cross-matched, not that I'm complaining.

I've had three tuppence back bets taken at 1.38. The first one was to win nothing. The second and third wins a penny, effectively giving me odds of 1.5.

Perhaps Betfair have put in some sort of banker's rounding to ensure you don't lose out.

I was counting on goals in the Hoffenheim match, still 0-0 well into the second half.

I'm just guessing, but in the following hypothesis;

Someone puts up a £10 offer on the back side of unders at 1.99 which makes the cross-matcher show £10 available at 2.02 on the lay side of overs, even though the real balancing price should be 2.01. If you come along and drop in another offer on the lay side of overs at 2.02, perhaps that offer jumps ahead of the original £10 because you are offering a real 2.02 instead of cross-matcher's 2.01?

Yeah, that makes sense, and a possibility.

Were the two late goals too late?

On Saturday afternoon, as you observed that...

They're scoring goals too quickly in Germany.
I was staring at this:
