Thanks a lot. Much appreciated.Kai wrote: ↑Fri Feb 09, 2024 2:21 amI'm sure there are more people trading football than it appears, but not much point showcasing stuff to make the job more difficult, it's hard enough as it is. Plus "street cred" is not a real currency either.
Generally whatever insight you can glean from others is helpful but for me best way to improve your own trading is VOD analysis.

2-0 89th and 95th minute. Quite the finish for those wanting goals!
I noticed that. I got totally disorientated tonight. Started with an Italian Serie A match. Redded up after a goal and moved on to French Ligue 1. Quit that due to 12 second delay and moved onto La Liga, but I still had the French match on the TV. I think at one point I opened a trade on the French match thinking I was trading the Spanish match, plus I had my bots placing bets on the match I thought I was trading.jamesedwards wrote: ↑Sat Feb 10, 2024 10:52 pm2-0 89th and 95th minute. And I wasn't pissed, I only just started drinking.

Holy complacency Derek, doesn't alcohol water down your edge? You will get an earful from your boss when he wakes upDerek27 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2024 1:09 amI noticed that. Well, VAR has ruined football.vankancisco wrote: ↑Thu Mar 09, 2017 12:50 amMany talk of Barcelona as the greatest team in the world, but I don't think anyone would have predicted the current team to win that game 6-1. As far as decisions go, football has always been the same, you're much more likely to get the rub of the green if you're one of the biggest clubs in the world with a 100,000 fans shouting for every decision. Personally, I think video replays for judgement based decisions would be a slippery slope for football. It would detract from some of things that make football exciting. Take the Chelsea v Barca game that is mentioned for instance, nearly all of the disputed decisions are contentious. Perhaps Chelsea should have had a penalty, but Barca probably shouldn't have had a man sent off. And of course, there's a big difference between seeing something live on the pitch and watching a slow motion video replay. Lines will start to become that bit more blurred, and the judgement and interpretation by the referee will become redundant. Ultimately the quest to get every single decision right, would spoil the flow, spontaneity and excitement.
The good news is though eventually a new league will form using jumpers for goalposts again.
Well your boss seems a lot more forgiving than mine!Derek27 wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2024 7:23 amI've been caught drinking at work enough times.Kai wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2024 5:49 amHoly complacency Derek, doesn't alcohol water down your edge? You could consider sacking him and hiring someone like Gordon Ramsay
Just seems like a slippery slope, taking this for granted, while so many work tirelessly to even find an edge

You never know... https://youtu.be/T0O4QS34SsM?t=169
I am like Derek above, I was having a nice bottle of wine with my Sunday roast, came back to my computer and see I am a nice few pounds up with the Westham Arsenal halftime score, nothing like having a sober bot.Kai wrote: ↑Sun Feb 11, 2024 2:57 pmWell your boss seems a lot more forgiving than mine!
