Alert means ??
I am trying to get my head around Automation. Can you tell me what the attached automation alert means and how do i fix it as i'm lost. Also with Guardian does it start betting automatically if it has a rule attached or do i need to turn it on. Is there a P&L statement on Bet Angel or is there one available. Obviously Betfair has one but hope BA has one.

Its because when creating the rule you have "Applied it" to a selection specific to that market so when you try to run on another market its looking for the same name to apply it to.
If you want to use the same rule on multiple markets your need to "Apply it" to a selection generically
For example if you wanted to back the home team in a football match rather than "applying" it to the name of the team instead use "Applies to" By row index (Betfair order) 1
The home team will always appear in row 1 so you can apply this rule to all football matches and it will bet on the home team,

Close trade on selection with or without greening is for individual selections where as green all selections closes all poisitions.
So if you had trades on several seletions and wanted to green up when a total profit of £10 is reached "Green all Selections" would be used
If you had trades on 2 runners and wanted to close when a £10 profit on each was reach (ie when using the DOBing stratergy) you would use the "Close trade on selection" either with or without greening

Dallas I am using a Lay the Draw rule i downloaded from this sight. I am probably a little dumb but could you explain the terminology with regard to this rule on soccer. Also is there a download for an easy to understand spreadsheet to record P&L for trading
What terminology dont you understand? is it they way it works or some of the conditions used within it?
