Hi,

I've noticed that the TAKE_SP_ALL Global Command doesn't seem to work, if the market doesn't allow In-Play betting.

My bet will be placed, stay unmatched, and if the market doesn't go to In-Play and just goes to Suspended (because In-Play isn't available for that market), the bet doesn't go to the Matched Back Bet Info columns as being matched at SP. (If the market does go into In-Play, there's no problems. The bet goes to the Matched Back Bet Info columns as being matched at SP with no problems.)

Some help please.

Some other notes:
- Markets are in Horse Racing.
- All this is in Practice Mode only so far.
- The Log in Bet Angel does say that the Bet Persistence has been changed to "Take SP".

Could it be that it's just doesn't show in Excel properly and if I do the bet in real time (i.e. not Practice Mode), unmatched bets will actually take the SP?

Thanks in advance.

Sorry if I'm missing something obvious. I'm relatively new to Betfair. Some thoughts came to mind last night:

Is SP just not available on some markets at all and this is why this is happening?

or

Is SP just not available at all on markets that don't have In-Play available?

Thanks again in advance.

I had an problem with the "TAKE SP" rule in guardian automation the other day (live mode).

According to the log the instruction was being created but being rejected by Betfair.... I stopped the automation after a few races with the intention of investigating the next day but it hasn't happened since. Did you check the log?

Not all markets support SP, so check that before you attempt to use it.

It varies from market to market and by sport. It's not a universal feature on Betfair.

Yeah, I'm starting to think it's a Betfair thing and not an issue with Bet Angel.

However, I can't see where it says whether a market has SP or not?

Also, I did notice that those markets where SP didn't show up as being taken (matched) in Bet Angel linked spreadsheet, that the bet SP button was still available on the Betfair website.

The log in Bet Angel does state that the Bet Persistence has been changed to Take SP, but then nothing beyond that.
