How do u traders out there decide on which races to trade on a Saturday afternoon?

I generally like to have 10 minutes between races to trade so that I can get a feel for the market and so that if I make a slight loss I have time to make it back up but today for example with a lot of races just 5 minutes apart I feel a bit more pressure to get my trades right because I know I won't have time to correct them. Does anybody else have this problem?

Do u guys trade each race or do you pick and choose?

Thanks
P.

Down to personal preferance ultimately. But I pick out likely high volume races with characteristics I like and target them. I'll try to trade everything, but if I see a decent opportunity I will focus on that.

I tend to love days like this as my more aggressive trading style works quite well in fast markets where there isn't much time to think. You can put in plenty of orders and they fill quickly so it's perfect for that.

I trade most of them as well unless there is very little money, but I'm not keen on 8 meetings in a day, it's a bit crazy for me!

Hi R,

I'll look at any race, but have gravitated towards non-handicaps, the moves in these seem to be more predictable to me and I therefore trade more of them,

cheers, P
