But sh e s work well.Why?
I use one offset bet for exemple 30 (no stop loose)
if loose i use offset bet 15 stop loose 2 ticks placing 2.
But i continu to loose.
Do you have good exemple for use this exemple video for horse racing inplay?
What do you use?offset bet by auto close?close manual?automatisation?

Thanck for all.

Stop losses are nt really designed for use in-running due to the volitility especially in closing stages and sprint races, if you try to use a stop loss you ll often continually get stopped out as the odds bounce up and down and when they finally shoot off in one direction or the other you ll find they go straight through your stop loss triggering it but moving way quick to have a chance of it being matched.

I don't know a single successful manual trader that uses stop losses

They are fine for automated strategies, but the temporary gaps in the market means stop losses are like dangling your bollocks into a food processor. Some days you might be lucky and get away with it, but eventually you'll end up talking like Joe Pasquale

That video more or less says 'Don't use arbitrary stop values' so applying one after watching that video misses the point somewhat. Using it in-play never works as the market moves too fast and the in-play delay will torpedo most strategies.

Inplay trading is more or less a gamble that's why most people won't risk more than 1% of there bank. when you put money in you have to accept you can lose the full amount.

As others have said, the IP volatility is such that stop losses are generally triggered more often than successful trades. There may be a case for automation on the longer (2m+ races) using SL, but not for manual trades.
