Betfair API Down

As someone who has only recently started to spend 5 or more hours a day on BF I am wondering how the hell they get away with this?

How common is what we have seen in the last couple of weeks?

Apparently all the other software is working with Betfair, its just betangel thats not.

So whats the fix?

That is incorrect, but that fact aside the entire Betfair API is down so nothing that connects via the API working at the moment.

I can only go off the info on the betfair forum, where users of other software arent reporting problems.

The error message being returned from Betfair is-

ACCOUNT_PENDING_PASSWORD_CHANGE

I'm logged into betfair fine and havent touched my password in years.

The API was down, as reported by Betfair, but prior to that there were problems with the API that affected a number of vendors but not all. But we gave everybody a work around anyhow.

Betfair has now returned for me.

Have to admit I am a bit conserned that the softwares saying somethign about passwords.

I just went to change my password on the betfair website incase something has infected betangel or my browser, now I cant log in to betfair at all without it bringing me to a new page sayign theyll send me a recovery email.

Doesnt sound right at all, whats going on?

Can we have a update for us 'non tech' minded people. I am not sure how an API works but I cant get any markets to show in Bet Angel. Do I need to do something at my end
