Now able to login and navigation appears to be back also.
It would seem that the amateur techies at BF tried to fix it before, F'd it up as usual, and then got it at the second bite of the cherry.
When you've got an IT department that had its systems collapse because of something as basic as a power failure, as happened last week, what hope is there for anything else?
