Horsies a Jumping

OK, this may seem like a stupid question, but is there any sure way of telling if a particular horse race has jumps/hurdles.

I do know that if it says Hrd = Hurdles

But Claim Stks is this with or without.

I also assume that 5F and other short races do not have hurdles?

If its a Jumps races it will have either
Hur = Hurdle
Chs = Chase (steeplechase or normal fences)

The shortest distance for a jumps race is 1M 7F but usually there 2M+
Where as only a handful of flats are run over more than 2M with most being around 1M

You may also want to know that...

NHF is technically a jumps races but without any jumps!

I.e. its in the same code as a jumps race.
