"Allow rule to trigger up to" question

Hi,

Testing out automation in guardian to possibly switch over to this vs. bot I'm using now. I've read the manual and had a search of the forum but not been able to find an answer to this;

On the "allow rule to trigger up to" part of the rule settings - let's say I have a rule to place a back bet at best price between odds of 2.00 to 4.00 between 5 minutes before kick off up to the market going in play.

What happens if at 5 minutes pre KO odds are 1.98, trigger would fire and not place bet as odds condition not met, but odds drift to 2.00 within timeframe before KO. How can I set the trigger to keep trying to place the bet up until kick off? Do I need to allow it to re-arm e.g up to 10 times at 30 second intervals? But also what I'm not sure is that if odds are in range will it then re-arm and place the bet 10 times, or does it stop once the first bet is placed?

I hope I've described the issue and that makes sense... any help appreciated!

Your conditions are being tested (checked) on each time the market is refreshed and only once there met ar they then triggered.

The number of trigger times is not for checking the conditions of the rule have been met its for actually firing the bet once all conditions have been met.

So using your example you can set it to trigger just the once (if only wanting to place the one bet) so during the the final five minutes your conditions will be checked on every market refresh so if you have it set to refresh every 200ms your conditions will be checked 5 times every second for the whole five mins or until its triggered once.
