Hi all ,
Sort of new to betangel but not new to a system i run I will discuss the system later in a different forum if people want to know how it works.
What i need to do is place a lay bet in the greyhound place market if the outsider is under 5.5 30 seconds out. If this bet gets matched then i want to then place a back bet on the same dog in the win market 29 seconds out with a third of the amount so lay bet 3 pound so back bet is 1 pound. The clever guys will get the maths of why you would do this .
I can get betangel to place both of the bets in guardian but there is no way i can see of ensuring that the same dog gets the bets and also if the lay bet dosnt trigger the back bet may still trigger.
It also works another way by laying outsider in place market with 1 pound and backing same dog in place market with 0.95p ( betfair comms taken into account) . This produces a money back if dog comes 3rd 4th 5th 6th 1 point loss if comes second and 2 point win if dog wins 2 to 1 on a 50 50 chance, works pretty take today morning races produced 3 outside winners and no second place so plus 6 points.
Any clever guys got any ideas.
Multiple markets
Its this part that is the problem as its not possible for guardian automation to take information from one market to trigger a bet or other rule type in another marketandyshelleybbp wrote:I can get betangel to place both of the bets in guardian but there is no way i can see of ensuring that the same dog gets the bets and also if the lay bet dosnt trigger the back bet may still trigger.

yup thats the problem i wasnt sure if it could be done using excel trading but obviously not.
i can trade a morning session manualy but its jaw dropping boring after a while and if u traded every race you would go insane lol
thanks anyhow

cheers
cheers
Also interested in cross-market automation, I was going to ask something similar!
Is it possible someone could rig up 1 working example (of literally anything), so we could see how it works in principal, then we can adapt it to our own ideas??
Or alternatively just being pointed in the right direction to learn how to do it would be great.
Thanks in advance!
