Typically, at what distance from the finish line would odds drop below 2.0?

Could be the whole distance if a horse goes off odds-on and never drifts

Does that happen often?

That might explain something I noticed on timeform. In the main it would appear that it's normally only horses that finish in the first 2-3 places that have a lo below 2.0. There were however a couple of races where a horse that finished much lower down had a lo below 2.0. I'm guessing they led from the start and ran out of steam?

Thanks

There can be several races each day with a odds on fav, on timeform as well as the IR low/High it also shows the BSP (Betfair Starting Price) for each runner so you can see if it was a odds-on shot thats been turned over or something that was running well but faded really badly towards the end.
