has anyone had this problem?
my bets cancel before being matched,(all pre -off)there is no fill or kill placed,,,it wont happen all the time but it happens, its very annoying,i cant figure it out why it is happening,
say i place a lay at 1.44 -offset with greening,1 tick,,it offsets ,
then when i want to add more on the lay or back side,it cancells the bets already there, driving me flipping mad,
but not all the time, just sometimes,,,
Thanks
Marc

It's crazy to see race meetings abandoned so often now. It seems bizarre.

Anyone else been thinking there have been some crazy movements around the markets last few days?

Huge drifts, then followed by price crashing back in again, before another steep drift...etc?

Not sure why, but seem to have noticed it happening more recently - often has very little to do with the actual race run by the horse too!

A question for an experienced trader/s

Is it just me, but on market like so..

Handicap or seller type race.

Price of fav say from 2.0 up to say 3.5. Id say fairly weak market poor grade affair.

The whole market is generally going side ways. Volitale but rangey and staying with about 5/8ticks.

Why does it seem there is always someone trying to smash a order way out of the range to move the market into a steam or a break out. They never happen and always revert back to its rangey price again.

Seems to happen on every market with that outlook.

Is this really happening or am i just seeing a bomber lately?

They seem like there are delibrately trying to influence the market to move, but surely they should know the market doesnt want to follow.
Cheers

could it not be that a certain amount of manipulation (and we're not talking conspiracy here), allows the market to stall and therefore, choices are being made and therefore naturally there's a divide as to which way things will go?? I know this is mainly related to pre-race, but I guess to a certain extent such shenanigans exist IR as well, given that there are so many wild swings from 1.5 out to 15 and back again!!

When the market moves like that most people follow like sheep, thats why traders like pw go against the crowd, he can see it's a crazy move.

Saturday trading is really starting to get to me. Everything just clashing.

Is there really a need for so many meetings when Saturday Royal Ascot is on?
Every race at Ascot, A nice 10 mins gap before every race... Except the FEATURE the diamond Jubilee stakes probably the biggest sprint of the year has a 3 miler hurdle 5 mins before.

Clueless!

thats because your looking at it from a trading point of view. All but one meeting is on the flat and with races going off pretty much on time there shouldn't really be any clashes with the actual races. The BHA don't care about traders getting a good quality 5 minutes or so of pre off market time to make some cash, they've got bigger fish to fry. As frustrating as it is thats the way cookie crumbles
