Hi,
I'm having a bit of difficulties with the close trade profit condition whereby when I apply it to a rule it then stops the rule from occuring?
Also am I right in thinking that the close trade profit condition allows to select a single runner to close the trade on if/when the profit or loss reach a predetermined threshold?
Thanks
Close Trade Profit Condition
Yes the close trade on selection with or without greening is for use on individual selections.
Green all selections is to do exactly that and green all open poisitions across the market.
The condition that you have shown in your image have you added that to your back/lay rule?
If so any your trying to close when a loss of -£5 is reached you need to remove it from there and add another rule type
"Close trade on selection"
and add the condition to that

It depends how your appling your back rule ie, is it to Row index or order of favourtism etc
For example if yoy where applying a back rule to Rows 1, 2 & 4 and wanted to close if any reached a loss of -£5 you would need a seperate "Close trade on selection" rule for each row.
Or if you only wanted to close if row 2 reached that loss you would just create one and apply it to row 2
If you wanted to close if the total loss across them all reached -£5 the just one "Green All" rule would be needed.

I have them set by favouritism so would not be able to set it to a specific row?
And could the green out across the entire market be avoided?
Also as a side-note how does the offset bet function work through the global settings? COuld i apply an offset with a stop loss with the back bet? I do not know though whether the offset means it changes the value I have set on the back originally?
Thanks Dallas

Its a bit tricky to do when backing/layng by order of favortism reason is say your back rule triggers on the fav if it drifts and goes into a -£5 loss it may not be the fav any more so having a "close trade" rule on the fav wont work.
It can still be done but depending on the set up of the rest of your rule and what else you have going on would depend on the best way to action it.
You could try the "Close Trade" rule applied to 'ANY' selection and have it trigger mulitple times and re-armed every several seconds.
When running automation and offsets are included on the parameters tab of the rule when making it, the actual global settings on the main banner don t get used unless manaully placing a bet.
