take sp problems

Hi i placed a bet earlier and pressed take sp for 10 pound and when the market went off it only matched for 7.70
Am i doing anything wrong?
Also i done this in practice mode as i had some trouble with the take sp earlier in the day
Has anyone else had the same problem or am i doing something wrong im not seeing?

Was it a lay bet? I'd guess the returned SP was a lot higher than when you placed the bet. SP bets are calculated by liability so £10 at 4/1 would be a £40 liability, if those odds rose to 8/1 your £40 liability would return a £5 stake.

I'd be very surprised if if was a single £10 back bet that only got part matched.

Are there any known issues with TAKE SP. I have been testing some excel stuff and noticed take sp does not seem to be working. Even when excel was off.
