Hi, I'm trying to set up a rule to auto back a named horse between 10 mins and 1 min of the "off time" at a fixed price (say 5.0) and then place a lay bet, again at a fixed price (say 4.5) but only if the back bet has been taken, and also allow the lay (and only the lay) to go in play.
But I'm running into problems setting this up.
My problem is the rule for the lay that determines if the back bet has actually been taken, and I don't see how.
Can anyone help please ?
Thanks

Why not use the "Matched Bets Amount Condition"? It lets you check how much of your money has been matched.
OK, I've set it up and it works, apart from I cant work out how to KEEP the lay bet. I want it to be set to go in from 1 min to the off time, and be kept in play. My practice bet went in on cue with 1 minute to go, but I noticed it was set to cancel in play.
How would I fix this ?

Ah, could it be I set up 2 Hedge rules in the same automation file.
The first would be to put the Lay bet in when NOT in play, and only if there has been 1 matched bet (the back bet)
The second would be to put the Lay bet in when it IS in play, and again, only if there has been 1 matched bet (the back bet)
Would that be it ?
Back to work now, so will have to try on tonights racing

There is an explicit rule called "Keep unmatched bets.." or something like it. Look for it in the list of rule types.
