Hi Forum,

I am new to the world of sports trading and wanted to say hi.

I have been looking into this for around 5-6 weeks now, I have spent multiple hours every day reading through as many forums, blogs, articles and videos as I possibly can and I can tell you I am pretty excited about the prospect of becoming a trader.
The idea of knowing whats going on in a market and being able to exploit it in your favour is thrilling. Not to mention the fact that there is so many different sports/markets/strategies/automations to keep anybody busy for a lifetime.
I am really looking forward to learning all I can. Oh and the profits will be a good bonus too, when they eventually arrive.

I am nearly through the free trial of Bet Angel and am finding it to be an amazing piece of software.

No doubt I will have many, many questions in the future but I will try and post them in the appropriate sections.

Look forward to learning and earning with you all.

Thanks

Good luck, you've a long journey ahead of you.

Don't expect miracles early on , do your best to avoid chasing losses, going inplay or any of the other bad trading habits. They're easy to pick up but very hard to shrug off, if you can avoid them you'll shave years off your trading journey.

JollyGreen's posts in the general forum "Trading for newbies" are a good place to start your journey. Worth reading before you even start to try and trade the markets, get the foundations in first. viewforum.php?f=2

welcome......what ever happens in your journey this will make you get to know yourself.
You will be tested by you, you will be challenged by you, you will be manipulated by you, you will be right when youre wrong and wrong when youre right...I hope you get to where you want to go with this..
Dont fight the struggle, Embrace the challenge....
in the end take from it what you can....and just enjoy the ride...good luck and happy trading.

amen, my life in a coconut shell for the past 9 months - the tunnel is there (despite challenging days, such as today - based on my strategy). you need to stick with the days that offer only gloom but at the same time avoid the temptation to think that you've cracked it on the days of plenty.

Fickle -fck, yes!! :D

Thanks for the encouragement guys.

Spreadbetting - Yes I have already read Jolly Greens posts (some of my favorite) will have to read them all again as with so much new information jumping from thread to thread it's easy to forget things.

If there are two things I have learnt already which have been reiterated in countless posts it's strap in for the long haul, this will take years, and NEVER go in play haha

My theory is, years will pass by anyway whether your doing something or not so may as well do something with the time.

Thanks
