Very sad news re JT McNamara and reminds us how brave the jockeys are doing what they do.
Euler - I'd imagine fishing deaths are due to drowning, particuarly if you factor in deep sea fishing etc.

That is actually horse riding excluding hunting and polo. I suspect Horse Racing on its own is much lower, eventing, I suspect contribute a lot of the deaths to the stats you looked at.Euler wrote:Horse racing is right up there, but incredibly they rank fishing above it.
