Every Ascot race currently has an overround of over 100%, market expecting non runners?

There WILL be non runners as only 10 horses can run. Lots of false markets out there. Judging by the volume, some people are going to get a nasty shock.

Just picked up £500 on the second race on the basis that people didn't ;)

Is this because the odds will drop when a non-runner appears? Please explain this?

Am I right in guessing that you backed every horse at the 100% overround, then cleaned up when the odds shortened due to non-runner adjustments? Please explain Peter if you would.
