The comments are a great read. A fair amount of paranoia and very little mention of trading.

One of the comments from the first article:
"I have been playing (and owning) race horses for 50+ years and have been a professional securities trader along the way. I understand derivatives, arbitrage, odds, laying and making bets. And, from their lame explanations and charts, I STILL can't understand the advantages or mechanics of this ridiculous betting scheme."
A professional securities trader who doesn't understand simple maths.
Reminds me of the phrase 'Never argue with an idiot, they will bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.'
