I would say 110% yes! There are two courses and for me you need to do both. The first one is the mechanics of how BA works; the second one is actual live trading. When i took the first one in June 2015 two weeks before, i didn't even know what a ladder was!!..had never seen one in my life. The 2nd one i have just taken..so a year apart and for me that is about right. I come from a racing background and am numerically totally illiterate. For someone with a bent for figures..or has done some financial trading- you could shorten the learning curve considerably. It is much more about figures/%s/data etc than it is about knowing intimately the sport you are trading- although that clearly helps. Good luck on your journey- because it sure is a journey!

I would add that both courses are excellent and worth the money.

Having an edge on betfair is all about having ideas and testing them. Peter Webb will introduce you to several ready and tested strategies, but more importantly he will put a lot of new ideas in your head. After being to his course I couldn't sleep for a week because of all these exciting things I wanted to test.
