Hi guys been using the front runner bot with an offset bet with greening with 10 offset ticks during inplay but i would like to add a trailing stop and this is were i get a little confused, what i am trying to achieve, if a front runner goes to the front and the price keeps going down, i would like the software to follow this trend but allow for a negative bounce of say 10 ticks and then green out, i have looked at the manual but are confusing myself even more, any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

This thread should explain that for you, its done using the global settings for manually trading but the same principal etc applies when setting up using automation stops/trailing stops
viewtopic.php?f=47&t=11746

The fill or kill is just how long you want a bet to remain in the market before being killed if not matched.
For example in-running you might want to trigger a back bet 5 ticks above the current price (to catch a mini bounce) but as the prices moves about a lot you dont just want to leave it at these odds in hope so you would use a quick fill or kill time ie, 3 secs that way if its not matched within this time its killed and the rule can re-trigger the bet 5 ticks above the new current price (if required).

When using fill or kill you need to enter a number for batches
This is simpy dividing up the stake used and offsetting it a bit at a time (Batches) mostly used when using larger stakes and you dont want to wait for the whole amount of the opening bet to be filled or the kill time to expire.

So for example using a £500 stake and 10 offset Batches means as every £50 of the opening bet is matched £50 is then offset for you, if you used the same stake with 4 offset Batches then as each £125 is matched this amount is then offset.

Can anyone see any obvious mistakes with the offset bet and trailing stop with greening in the image, thanks.

Providing you have enabled global settings by uncrossing the blue cog icon they look fine

Thanks Dallas but i think i may have done something wrong as i done a back to lay £2 stake, using the settings as shown in previous image and it worked the opposite way round, i wanted it to follow a price inward.

Yes you have placed a lay bet rather than back bet. Back bets are placed in the blue column.

The only problem i am having now is the trailing stop is not moving down as the price goes down as shown in the image,5 seconds after taking the image it greened out, thanks again for all your help, dont know how i would have got this far without it.

It is moving down you just cant see either a stop or trailing stop visually on the ladder (unlike right clicking one which highlights the box yellow).

When you backed @ 1.71 your stop trigger will of been set 15 ticks higher (1.86)

If you look at your unmatched bet at the bottom you will see its currently saying close @ 1.79 (which is your stop trigger) as the price has come in 7 ticks since you backed your trailing stop is also adjusted accordingly.

What i trying to get to happen, when a horse is getting backed backed in, I would like the software to follow that trend until it reaches its lowest price then if it does bounce back up catch it at around 15 ticks away from its lowest price then green out, I am not sure if i have the settings set correct for this to happen.

That is sort of is what your doing at the moment, by backing with a trailing stop as the price shortens so does your stop loss so if it turns you will green up (or red up) for much less of a loss than if you just placed a static stop loss at the beginning.
In your case this will be 15 ticks from the lowest point it has reached.

I know what your saying Dallas but i cannot understand if the price is dropping, why the offset (ticks) are not following the price drop.

The offset and offset with greening don't and can't move - these are placed and fixed when a bet is place using the number of ticks specified, they can be cancelled and manually greened up at other odds if you wish but they can move with the price themseleves.

The only option that moves is the 'trailing stop' as the name suggests this trails behind the price and the normal stop works similar to the offset/offset with greening options and is placed at the specified fixed number of ticks from where the bet is placed.
