hi,
i want to set a few rules and not sure how to go about it.
Rule one is to select three separate horses in each race.
Rule two is to back the first horse that reaches 1.3 in-play and then eliminate the rest so i'm not having all three horse potentially matching at 1.3.
how do i go about doing this.
i understand back the field at 1.3 and the rest then get eliminated but i just want my own selections to get matched

Which three horse are you wanting to back, Is it the fav 3?
Or 3 which you will select for each race?
There is a ready made rule on the shared files section which will back the first to trade at 1.35 which you could download and either build on or copy the way its set to your exsisting file.

You can Nominate (pick) upto 2 selections for each market so for a 3rd you would need to open a 2nd instance of BA and add the rule to that and Nominate your 3rd runner their.
Otherwise you would need to manually edit and create a rule for every market and select the 3 names as your making the rule which is very time consuming.
The first option is by far the easiest, and if you wanted to do it that way there is an example file in the shared files section which you can download and will do very close to what you want, you would just need to delete the 'Close Nom 1' and '2' rule types from it then it will back upto 2 selected runners before the off (Obviosutly you can change the timings and stakes used as well).

Thanks very much that's a good start. I'm getting a 50-60% strike rate a day with my picks but havnt put it into practice yet. And from the 40-50% of races I don't win there's only one or two horses max drop below 1.3 and go on to lose. So if I can get this rule going I could be in profit. One other question is when in the guardian how do you stop bet Angel asking to place the bet?
